Section Chief Engineering & Construction
Under direction of the Commissioner of Engineering and Construction, is responsible for coordinating and assigning workloads to support staff including, but not limited to, the Bureau of Sidewalks, Plats and Surveys, Design, Construction, and Bridges and Docks. Supervises work performed by staff and makes recommendations for improving efficiency and production within the Division.
Identifies problems/provides troubleshooting assistance and assists with finding solutions and resources to resolve problems in a timely manner. Performs other job-related duties as required.
A High School Diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Public Works Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited four year college or university is required. Eight years of full time paid experience in bridge and road construction is required. Must have a valid State of Ohio Professional Engineer's License. A valid State of Ohio Driver's License is required.
