Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility
Supervises the skilled trades’ crews and manage onsite construction activities for large, extensive projects. Set a Safety 24/7 culture for your crews
Additional Areas of Responsibility
- Conduct pre-planning and goal setting with crews
- Oversee cost associated with your work items
- Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling and material needs for crews
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors
- Understand and interpret safety laws and company policies/standards.
- Apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
Other Information/Requirements
- 4 year engineering or construction management degree or equivalent technical experience progressing through the ranks as a Journeyman to a Foreman to a Superintendent.
- Minimum of six years similar construction Field Management experience.
- Assemble 90-day and 3-week schedules in Microsoft Excel and use Microsoft Word for pre-planning processes.
- Lead and manage several foreman on putting work in safely, productively, and takes pride in quality.
- Assists the Project Manager in putting the Primavera P6 project schedule together
