Capability Statement
R. J. Platten Contracting Co. has been in operation continuously since 1922, incorporated in 1959 and performs general building and site work construction. The categories of construction that we perform are: all types of concrete work, carpentry, excavation, grading, sewer and line installations and stone pavement. We are an SBE (Cuyahoga County Small Business Enterprise), CSB (C of Cleveland Small Business), a member of ACI International, Northeast Ohio Chapter ACI. R.J. Platten is BUSTR certified, State of Ohio Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Installer and prequalified to perform work for ODOT.
