Civil Rights Transportation Symposium Scholarship

In celebration of the Ohio Department of Transportation’s 3rd Annual Civil Rights Transportation Symposium, (3) Three $1,000 scholarships  will be awarded to (3) individual students currently enrolled in a post high school education focusing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) related fields. The Civil Rights Transportation Symposium Scholarship focuses on broadening the number of individuals in the management and operation ranks of the engineering and transportation industry. Students will be selected by submitting an essay describing how the Civil Rights Act has impacted the transportation industry and the role it will play in the future; application and supplemental documentation.    
 
Students must meet Scholarship eligibility requirements to be considered.  Deadline for this scholarship is 11:59pm on March 1, 2019.  The Scholarship awards will be presented April 9, 2019. Click here for Scholarship Guidelines and Scholarship Application.
