Ford to Invest $200 Million in Avon Lake Plant

Ford Motor Co. is investing $200 million into the Ohio Assembly Plant in Avon Lake, which will create or retain 150 jobs, the Dearborn, Mich.-based auto maker said in a news release. The Avon Lake investment will be used to make Super Duty chassis cabs, part of the company’s F-Series.
"Ford also announced a $1.4 billion investment in its Livonia Transmission Plant in Michigan, which will create or retain 500 jobs, the release stated."
