“The country is just littered” with obsolete retail space. So says developer Stuart Lichter in this Wall Street Journal story about the need to re-imagine shopping center space, which mentions Randall Park Mall in North Randall. The paper says a “toxic brew of overbuilding, the rise of e-commerce and a wave of retailer bankruptcies” have forced landlords to find new-uses for once-lucrative properties.
