Preparations for the Republican National Convention at Quicken Loans Arena are well underway, Andrew J. Tobias of Cleveland.com reports. The crews have had to work under an accelerated schedule, due to an extended season for the Cleveland Caveliers. The process of converting the arena for the convention, which begins on July 18, began directly after Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
