Alison Matas of CantonRep.com reports on the Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village project, which is being managed by CEA Member Welty Building Co., and how it is employing the local workforce:
Village developers early on made a commitment to use local labor and signed negotiated collective bargaining agreements to that effect. And in a show of support for the project, the building and construction trades council that represents local unions decided to hold an annual fundraiser with proceeds going toward Village construction."
