Norris Brothers Certified by City of Cleveland as a Female Business Enterprise (FBE)
Norris Brothers is pleased to announce the company recently received certifications from the City of Cleveland as a Female Business Enterprise (FBE), Cleveland Small Business (CSB), and Local Producer Enterprise (LPE). The company was founded in 1867 by Thomas Norris, Sr. with a single team of horses to haul freight of all descriptions from the Cuyahoga River and various railroads to warehouses, retail stores, and small manufacturing plants. Over 150 years later, the company continues to serve Northeast Ohio providing industrial contracting services including heavy rigging, machinery maintenance, repair and overhaul, and specialized construction projects.
In 2018, Norris Brothers transitioned to a fifth-generation Norris family, the children of Maurice C. Norris, Jr. Company owners include sisters Kathleen Michael, Maureen McAdams, and Paula Norris along with their brother Courtney Norris.
