U.S. Tops Infrastructure Investment List

The US, with help from states such as Texas and Louisiana, has taken the top spot in Site Selection magazine's Global Groundwork Index, which measures the intersection of corporate facility activity and infrastructure investment.

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the new index reveals "a glass-half-full moment ... an opportunity to rethink the infrastructure investment model, creating a new perspective, new tools and new sources of funding through which to channel investment into projects," said Norman Anderson, president of CG/LA Infrastructure, which contributed data to the ranking.
