What brought or attracted you to the construction industry?

My dad immigrated to Cleveland from Italy and, like so many others, found his first job in the city's booming construction industry.  Even if I did not have that background, there is  so much creativity, and problem solving, and relationship-building involved in both law and construction that I love.

What do you like most about your work?

What would you like to see change within the construction industry?

Changing perception and promoting opportunity are two key goals we should be striving for to attract skilled workers to the industry.

What advice would you give to other women interested in construction?

Women have what the construction industry needs to be productive, efficient, and successful: the ability to multi-task and engage in high-level collaboration with others. Don't be discouraged. Show this industry what we have to offer!
