Construction Claims Consultant
Review and analyze construction claims and provide opinions, advice and reports as necessary on contractual entitlement and quantification of damages suitable for use in dispute resolution proceedings including: negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation. Analyze contracts and subcontracts to determine parties’ responsibilities in light of disputes. CPM scheduling and hands-on use of Primavera P6 software for project controls and evaluation of delays.
Report writing and preparation of charts and graphs to support and present analyses. Conduct research, analysis and product development for all on-going projects. Conduct analysis of ongoing or completed projects through analyzing project documents, schedule analysis, cost records, etc. in order to determine cause and effect, time and cost entitlement.
Engineering Degree. 5-10 years Claims Analysis, Project Controls, or Construction Management experience. Exceptional written and verbal communications skills are a must. Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook. Ability to review and analyze issues and project documentation. Strong knowledge of construction means and methods. Knowledge of contractor cost accounting systems. P.E. license preferred or beneficial. PSP.
