Women in Construction: Fatima Ware

As a part of Women in Construction (WIC) week, March 3-9, 2019, we are highlighting the contributions of local women in the industry. The following interview is with Fatima Ware, owner of Ware’s The Dirt, an HVAC Company.

What is your favorite part of your job?

I don’t have a favorite part. But working with my tools and then looking at what I built with my own hands is very satisfying.

When did you realize you wanted to work in the construction industry?

I found me, I didn’t find it.

What’s on your bucket list?

Bidding and winning more jobs. Perfecting my craft, skills both on and off the field. Growing and helping the underprivileged.
