Senior Manager Construction Projects
Provides administrative and technical management of complex construction projects from early budgeting/estimating thru final acceptance by all Departments. Coordinates/supervises personnel, consultants, contractors, vendors, and others to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with department and system policies.
Manages the efficient and effective daily operation of the Construction department by:
a. Supervising assigned personnel by providing orientation, guidance, and professional development as required; approving or making recommendations regarding employment, performance appraisals, salary changes, promotions, and transfers.
b. Coordinating and tracking work flows, schedules, projects, and committee decisions; maintaining required records and files; compiling required statistics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or other Construction-related field from an accredited institution, OR a combination of technical training and 5 years of associated construction experience.
